Find the right support
Therapy for the full range of what life brings — in person in St. Stephen, NB, and virtually across Canada.
We work with people carrying a lot — trauma, anxiety, burnout, relationship strain, ADHD, the particular weight of parenting, and the kind of cumulative stress that doesn't have a single name. Our team of licensed therapists brings evidence-based, nervous system–aware care to every session, adapted to how you actually are, not a textbook version of your situation.
Therapy services
In-person in St. Stephen, NB — and virtually anywhere in Canada.

For the racing mind that won't let you rest
Anxiety lives in the nervous system, not just the thoughts. We work with both — helping you understand the shape your anxiety takes and build real tools for the moments it shows up, rather than just talking about it in the abstract.

For the things your body remembers, even when your mind has moved on.
We work with trauma in all its forms — single-incident, complex, and attachment-based. Using EMDR, somatic approaches, and IFS, we help the nervous system settle what talking alone often can't.

For the version of you two that got buried under logistics and old arguments.
We're not in the business of deciding who's right. We're interested in the pattern underneath the argument — what's actually happening between you, and what it would take for both of you to feel genuinely heard.

For the things that haven't moved, no matter how hard you've tried.
EMDR is an extensively researched therapy that works with the brain's natural capacity to heal — not just the story of what happened, but the way that experience is still held in your nervous system. Available in-person and virtually.

The same depth of care, from wherever you are.
Virtual sessions at 3 Rivers aren't a reduced version of in-person therapy. It's the same therapists, the same approaches, delivered through a secure video connection. Many clients find their own space actually helps the work go deeper.

For the kids who don't have the words yet.
Child-centered play therapy is a gentle, child-led approach for children ages 4 and up. Play is often the language that gets there first — and a trained therapist knows how to listen to it. Regular parent check-ins are part of every course of care.

For the body that never got the message it was safe.
Polyvagal and somatic approaches to help the nervous system shift out of survival mode — for the people whose anxiety, shutdown, or reactivity hasn't responded to thinking and talking alone.

For brains that work differently — and deserve support that fits.
We don't treat neurodivergence as a problem to fix. Our team includes therapists with lived experience who understand the real cost of masking, the particular exhaustion of late diagnosis, and what it takes to build a life that actually works for how you're wired.

For the people trained to hold it together — and what happens when that stops working.
First responders face a particular kind of cumulative exposure that standard stress management wasn't built for. We offer trauma-informed, operationally informed care that meets this experience directly.

Not sure where to start?
Most people come to us carrying more than one thing. Anxiety and trauma often travel together. ADHD and burnout rarely show up alone. You don't need to identify the right page or the right label before reaching out — a free 15-minute consult is exactly the right place to figure out what kind of support fits, and who on our team would be the best match.
