Nicolette Fifi

Nicolette is a Licensed Counselling Therapist Candidate (LCT-C) registered in New Brunswick and a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Psychologists. Her approach is strengths-based and deeply relational — grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity for growth, connection, and healing when they feel genuinely supported.

She has a particular passion for working with children, adolescents, and families, and brings a warm, gentle presence to every session. Nicolette supports clients in building self-worth and self-acceptance, strengthening their coping toolkit, and navigating life’s transitions with greater confidence and ease.

Nicolette is trained in Client-Centered Play Therapy and AutPlay®, and incorporates mindfulness-based family approaches alongside expressive arts techniques — including sand tray and art-based interventions — within a trauma-informed framework. Her work honours the whole person, creating space for healing, self-expression, and meaningful growth.

Drawing on a background in psychology and early learning education, Nicolette brings cultural awareness, openness, and genuine curiosity to her work. She is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where clients from all backgrounds feel seen and understood. Families often describe her as warm, encouraging, and easy to connect with — someone who meets clients exactly where they are.
