Meet Erin

Erin is a Master's level practicum student at 3 Rivers Counselling. She is registered with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association as a student counsellor. Erin holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Memorial University and is completing her Masters in Counselling Psychology with Yorkville University.

With four years of experience at Anglophone School District South (ASD-S), Erin has provided behavior intervention and social/emotional support to middle and high school students. She brings a developmental and forensic psychology background and has advanced training in trauma-informed practice, psychopathology, and personal wellness.

Erin's passion lies in working with adolescents and adults. Trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, she uses strengths-based therapeutic modalities to empower clients through the discovery of their innate strengths and resiliency.

Erin believes in a collaborative therapeutic relationship as essential for successful outcomes. Her experience encompasses various issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, anger management, coping strategies, interpersonal conflict, mood disorders, personality disorders, suicidal ideation, grief management, stress management, neurodiversity, and trauma.

Erin invites clients to join her on a journey towards empowerment, authenticity, and fulfillment in life, offering a safe, compassionate, and empathetic environment for growth and healing.
